Cookies

This page explains what cookies are, which ones this website uses, and how you can control them. It was last updated on 29 September 2026.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store on your device. Cookies are commonly used to keep a site working, to remember a choice you have made, or to build a picture of how a site is being used.

What this website uses

We keep this to a minimum. This website uses Google Analytics to understand how the site is being used, and nothing beyond that: no advertising, no social media tracking, and no content embedded from other platforms. Google Analytics runs only if you accept statistics cookies in the banner. Until you answer it, nothing is stored on your device and nothing is measured.

When you accept or reject cookies, we store a cookie recording what you chose, so that we do not have to ask again on every page. That one is set whichever way you answer. If you accept statistics cookies, Google Analytics then sets cookies of its own so that it can tell a repeat visit from a new one; if you decline, it sets none and sends nothing. The table below lists whatever is currently in use.

Links to other services

Some pages link out to LinkedIn and to WhatsApp. Following one of those links takes you to a service we do not control, and that service may set cookies of its own once you arrive. Their own privacy and cookie policies apply there, not this one.

Changing or withdrawing your choice

You can change your choice, or withdraw your consent entirely, at any time: open cookie settings.

Your choice is remembered for 180 days. After that the banner appears again so that you can confirm or change it.

Controlling cookies in your browser

Every major browser lets you see which cookies are stored on your device, delete them, and block new ones from being set. The controls are usually found under Settings, in a section named Privacy or Privacy and security. Blocking all cookies can stop parts of some websites from working; this one will continue to function normally.
